Welcom Back to the Social

I realize welcome to the social is Microsoft's Zune advertising campaign, but it does fairly well grab the essence of what web 2.0 is all about.  I've commented on this before.  Despite my negative  feelings about the nature of twitter, I've decided to give it another try.  Why, because all the cool bloggers and podcasters do.  I can't say there is much more reason for it than that.  It isn't a case of idol worship or me wanting to be just like the cool kids, it's more a feeling that I might be missing something. When we did the J.C Hutchins interview on We Are Not Cool it was because Doz had heard about his call for podcasters on twitter.  There have been many other instances of things announced in the podcast, tech, and writing communities on twitter that would have been pretty cool to be involved with if I had heard about it at the time.  Lots of ideas bounce back and forth across this thing and I guess I hope that it will help stimulate my creativity a bit.

So, I'm giving this a try again, trying to get myself back immersed into podcasting and creativity.  I've added a twitter badge to the site, that orangish box there on the right.  So if my inane blogging isn't quite exciting enough, you can check out my inane tweets not as well.
