How I Hate Thee Microsoft, let me count the ways...

IE is one of the most utterly useless pieces of code ever produced by Microsoft. I'm tired of the plain old Wordpress theme on this site and for the past two nights have done a considerable amount of work to customize a couple of themes for us that would dress things up a bit. The themes work fine in Firefox, they work in Opera, they work in Konqueror. However when you try to view it under Internet Explorer, things go horribly wrong. And if the fact that the most common browser in the world can't properly render standard CSS isn't pathetic enough, it gets better. IE7 has the added bonus of rendering the same code differently at different times. Don't like the way the site looks, just hit the refresh button and it will change. It still won't be right, but it will be wrong in a new and exciting way.

Of course I'm hoping anyone listening knows enough to be using Firefox, Opera, or one of their scions, but I'm still committed to making this site viewable (correctly) with the Mighty Blue E. I guess that means the big blue box gets to stay for awhile.
